Refund Policy

How refunds, deposits, and cancellations work across service engagements (SEO, digital marketing, web development, app development) and the Torch Light source-code product. Last updated: July 2026.

Overview

Refund terms differ depending on what you're buying: ongoing service work is billed for time and effort already delivered, while the Torch Light source code is a one-time digital product delivered instantly. Both are covered below, and both fall under the wider Terms of Service.

SEO retainers

SEO plans are billed monthly, in advance, for work carried out that month. Because audits, on-page fixes, content, and outreach are delivered as the month progresses, completed billing periods aren't refundable. Retainers are month-to-month — cancel any time with 14 days' notice before the next billing cycle and you won't be charged again.

Digital marketing retainers

Digital marketing plans follow the same month-to-month billing as SEO: the management fee covers strategy, campaign setup, and ongoing optimization for that month and isn't refunded once the month's work has started. Ad spend itself is billed separately by Google or Meta directly to your own account and is never refundable through this business, since it's never routed through us.

Web development projects

Fixed-price and custom web builds are secured with a deposit before work starts; the deposit covers scoping and scheduled work and isn't refundable once development begins. For milestone-based projects, each milestone payment is only due once that milestone is delivered and approved — unapproved, undelivered milestones are never charged. If a project is cancelled partway through, work completed up to that point is billable and any remaining, un-started milestones are not charged.

App development projects

The same deposit-and-milestone approach applies to MVP and custom app builds: a deposit secures the project slot and isn't refundable once work starts, and later milestones are only billed once delivered and approved. Google Play developer account fees are paid by you directly to Google and are outside this policy.

Torch Light source code

Torch Light is a one-time digital product, delivered electronically through the Freemius checkout. Because the files can be copied instantly once delivered:

  • Full refund if the source code isn't delivered within 48 hours of confirmed payment.
  • Full refund if the project doesn't build in Android Studio as described, and the issue can't be fixed within 7 days of reporting it.
  • No refund once the source code has been delivered and successfully opens/builds — the files are yours to use at that point.
  • No refund for change-of-mind requests after delivery.

Full product, licensing, and support details are on the Torch Light page.

How to request a refund

Email maliknauman080@gmail.com with your order or project details and the reason for the request. Eligible refunds are processed within 5 business days, back to the original payment method.

This policy may be updated as services or the product offering change. Terms already agreed in writing for an active project or completed purchase aren't affected by later updates to this page.
